Due to the wildfires that have decimated parts of Los Angeles, and the continuing threat posed to our California operations, we have decided to postpone The James J. Barker Youth Winter Nationals until later this year.  Please check back in the coming weeks for updated information on the new date and times.  Thank you.

The James J. Barker Youth Winter Nationals is a celebration of Jim Barker's years of dedication to, and support of, junior rowing in Philadelphia and gives youth rowers an opportunity to see how they stack up in a national competition.  The qualifying round will be a virtual race powered by RowStream.  The weekend of January 25th & 26th, 2025, participants will pull their best 2,000m piece and submit their scores through the RowStream app. The top 10 participants in each age and gender group will be invited to participate in the live championship event on February 2, 2025, which will be held at the University of Pennsylvania's Burk-Bergman Boathouse. College coaches will be in attendance (full list TBD). Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each age and gender category..
